I'm going to keep this first entry short and sweet! This spring has been a whirlwind of activity- both with my businesses and on the farm. The winter always seems to drag on through the month of March, and then before you know it, we're running around irrigating freshly transplanted crops in 75 degree weather!

What I enjoy most this time of year is watching the first asparagus pop their heads out of the soil...The rhubarb which uncurls its leaves one day and takes over the garden bed the next!...The patch of sorrel which is so sour, but so delicious when paired with goat cheese in a custard for brunch. (I'll post the recipe here soon.)
